ClinixMD is very excited to announce the certification of its ambulatory Electronic Health Record (EHR) system under the Meaningful Use 2014 Edition Complete EHR criteria by the Drummond Group, an Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Certification Body (ONC-ACB). ClinixMD EHR version 9.0 is now listed on the Certified Health IT Product List (CHPL) for 2014 Edition and will enable eligible professionals to attest for Meaningful Use Stage 2 incentive payments granted under the HITECH Act.
Achieving this important certification is a significant milestone for ClinixMD and signals a full commitment towards developing the most effective technology possible for the ambulatory market. As an example of the magnitude of this achievement, over 1,900 EHR systems were certified under the Meaningful Use 2011 Edition criteria, although to-date only 359 have earned the 2014 Edition certification.
“The Meaningful Use 2014 Edition certification represents the summation of many months of extensive development and testing of our system to meet this essential requirement for our customers” says ClinixMD Executive Vice President and General Manager Ryan C. Jones. “The capabilities added to support this certification provide our customers a much more powerful and robust platform to deliver the highest level of patient care possible.”
ClinixMD remains dedicated to serving its customers and the ambulatory healthcare market as an end-to-end solutions provider, and will continue its emphasis on customer-focused innovation. To enable customers to fully-utilize the functionality added in ClinixMD EHR version 9.0 and attest for Meaningful Use Stage 2, a free webinar series will soon be launched as well as more customized services based on the specific needs and requirements of each customer.
