Bestcare Treatment Services
We provide treatment for addiction to substances for adults 18 and over. Our core philosophy is to help clients achieve abstinence from alcohol and others drugs while increasing their quality life (with regards to family, work and the community). We do believe that people choose recovery and that choice is the most basic reason for maintaining long-term sobriety bestcare treatment services
Choosing recovery is not as simple as saying, “I do not want to continue using alcohol or drugs”. Wanting to be abstinent – or more typically not wanting the consequences related to substance abuse – is common, but choosing recovery involves making an educated decision to take whatever steps necessary to be in recovery.
This decision involves being willing to let go of friends, social habits, and even finding alternative means for celebrating or dealing with stress. Ultimately, moving into recovery is likely to require being willing to let go of ones identity how one is known to others and even to one’s self.
Because choosing recovery involves so much, our substance abuse treatment facility adheres to the Motivational Interviewing model of behavior change in working with clients. This model starts with establishing what the client wants out of life and what is it about her/his behaviors are not supporting these objectives and desires. When a client is focused on making changes that help her/him achieve unique and personal goals, this motivation has personal relevance. These are the reasons that will have meaning when these changes become difficult to maintain. These are the reasons one can refer to when old friends and old habits cause doubt in the choice to be in recovery.
BestCare is proud to be one of the longest-term providers in the Central Oregon region. We got our start in November of 1997, thanks to a partnership between Deschutes County, State of Oregon, St. Charles Medical Center and the Central Oregon District Hospital—and, as a result of the only other residential drug rehab center closing its doors.
Since 1997, we have grown from a modest, singular drug rehab center to offering residential and outpatient services in four cities and becoming the only Spanish-speaking alcohol and drug rehab facility in the state. We have helped thousands of people find the help they need in a caring and collaborative environment. And, we have remained true to our Business Code of Conduct, and our founding mission
