At its 2026 National Conference, eClinicalWorks unveils a redesigned platform, AI agents, clinical intelligence tools, and autonomous workflows, alongside expanded pharmacy and inpatient care capabilities.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — October 23, 2026 — At the 2026 eClinicalWorks and healow National Conference, eClinicalWorks®, one of the largest privately held healthcare technology companies in the United States, and healow®, a provider of patient engagement and AI-driven healthcare solutions, announced that their combined revenue is expected to exceed $1.3 billion in 2026.
eClinicalWorks continues to advance cloud-based electronic health records (EHR), revenue cycle management (RCM), population health, and value-based care solutions. These technologies help healthcare providers improve clinical efficiency, simplify administrative processes, and enhance patient outcomes.
Expanding its commitment to artificial intelligence, eClinicalWorks plans to introduce next-generation Agentic RCM and Agentic Value-Based Care solutions. These technologies will bring intelligent automation and autonomous capabilities to complex financial, administrative, and care management processes. The solutions aim to reduce administrative workloads, strengthen financial performance, improve care coordination, and help healthcare organizations navigate the growing shift toward value-based care.
healow is projected to reach a record $175 million in revenue in 2026, supported by increasing demand for its AI-powered healthcare solutions. Its technologies are designed to improve patient engagement, strengthen communication between patients and providers, automate administrative tasks, streamline revenue cycle operations, and create more seamless digital healthcare experiences.
Together, eClinicalWorks and healow are continuing to pursue their shared goal of transforming healthcare through artificial intelligence, agentic automation, and connected patient experiences. Their solutions aim to help healthcare providers improve operational efficiency while delivering better patient experiences and outcomes.
The companies also announced two new business units focused on specialized healthcare needs: an AI-native inpatient hospital EHR and a pharmacy management system designed for integrated, inpatient, and retail pharmacy operations.
“The major shift is not just about adding AI features to an existing system. We have redesigned the product around AI and agents, integrating intelligence directly into everyday workflows,” said Girish Navani, CEO and cofounder of eClinicalWorks. “Our projected combined revenue of more than $1.3 billion demonstrates the confidence our customers have in eClinicalWorks. It also enables us to continue investing in technologies that help hospitals and healthcare organizations improve efficiency, expand operations, and remain competitive without requiring the resources of a large health system.”
Expanding Healthcare Solutions Beyond Ambulatory Care Across the Care Continuum
eClinicalWorks is extending its reach beyond ambulatory care by introducing new pharmacy management and inpatient hospital business units. These additions aim to connect outpatient, pharmacy, and hospital workflows through a more comprehensive patient record, expanding the company’s technology across multiple care settings.
The new pharmacy management system is integrated directly into the EHR, enabling pharmacists, healthcare providers, and patients to access shared information. Developed in collaboration with East Georgia Healthcare Center, the platform offers real-time inventory tracking, claims adjudication, electronic prior authorizations, 340B compliance support, and prescription notifications. It also integrates healow Genie, the company’s AI-powered contact center, to handle patient inquiries about prescription refills, medication status, and other routine needs.
“We wanted to create more than a replacement for an existing pharmacy system. Our goal was to develop a solution that meets the needs of pharmacists, providers, and patients,” said Jennie Wren Denmark, CEO of East Georgia Healthcare Center. “Over the past two years, our team has collaborated with eClinicalWorks to develop a platform tailored to the practical needs of community healthcare. Integrating pharmacy operations with patient records will help minimize duplicate work and provide our teams with a more complete picture of each patient.”
The newly introduced AI-native inpatient hospital EHR marks eClinicalWorks’ expansion into hospital care. The solution is designed to automate routine tasks, optimize resource utilization, and improve staff productivity while connecting hospital services with the company’s ambulatory care and pharmacy management platforms. Several hospitals have committed to the initiative and are planning implementations before the end of 2026 as eClinicalWorks establishes a dedicated business unit focused on hospital requirements.
“We are pleased to partner with eClinicalWorks as we develop the technology infrastructure for our hospital,” said Raji Kumar, CEO of American Specialty Hospital. “The acute care platform stands out for its vision of a connected, AI-first system designed around modern hospital operations. We believe this approach can improve team efficiency while allowing us to maintain our focus on delivering an excellent patient experience.”
“Riceland Healthcare is proud to participate in this initiative as we prepare to implement and deploy the inpatient EHR at Winnie Community Hospital,” said Saad Javed, CEO of Riceland Healthcare. “This marks an important milestone in our efforts to modernize healthcare delivery. Our collaboration with eClinicalWorks has been essential in advancing this vision. Beyond the technology itself, this initiative reflects our shared commitment to connected care, improved clinical collaboration, and better patient outcomes.”
A Streamlined EHR Experience Designed Around Clinical Workflows
Version 12.04 introduces Canvas for Care, a redesigned workspace that consolidates patient information, task queues, AI-generated summaries, recommendations, and actionable insights in one place. The updated interface aims to minimize clicks, pop-ups, and navigation between screens, enabling clinicians and staff to review information and manage care more efficiently. By simplifying routine workflows and making relevant data easier to access, the platform helps healthcare organizations streamline operations without relying on extensive IT resources or multiple disconnected solutions. eClinicalWorks is scheduled to begin rolling out these technologies to customers on November 1.
The company has also announced the rollout of healowIQ, a conversational clinical intelligence solution integrated with EBSCO DynaMed®. The platform combines patient records with trusted, evidence-based medical information, allowing clinicians to ask questions in natural language and access patient-specific insights alongside supporting clinical evidence without leaving the patient record. Additionally, an enhanced clinical trial feature will identify potentially relevant research opportunities directly within clinical workflows.
Agentic AI Transforming Clinical and Operational Workflows
The AI Workbench enables healthcare organizations to build, deploy, and manage AI agents for operational tasks, including revenue cycle management, referrals, prior authorizations, and value-based care. The platform offers a marketplace of ready-to-use agents and tools for creating workflows that can run manually or automatically. In addition to standard REST and FHIR API integrations, eClinicalWorks is introducing Model Context Protocol (MCP) endpoint support, allowing organizations to connect their own applications and workflows to the eClinicalWorks platform.
During the National Conference Build-A-Thon, attendees will have the opportunity to explore AI Workbench firsthand, participate in interactive demonstrations, and build their own AI agents using the platform.
eClinicalWorks is also leveraging agentic AI to automate revenue cycle management (RCM) processes from end to end, with the goal of automating up to 98% of manual work. Its autonomous RCM capabilities monitor revenue cycle activities, helping practices identify claim denials, uncover reimbursement opportunities, and minimize manual follow-ups.
Meanwhile, agentic value-based care solutions help healthcare organizations identify cost drivers, detect high-risk patients, alert care teams and providers, determine necessary follow-up actions, and automate routine tasks. These capabilities aim to reduce administrative workloads, improve operational efficiency, and free up staff time for more patient-focused activities.
Key Platform Enhancements and New Features
The National Conference also highlighted several enhancements aimed at improving the functionality and everyday usability of existing eClinicalWorks solutions:
- Sunoh.ai®: Introduces enhancements to order accuracy, language support, personalization, editing, synthesis, and summarization, helping clinicians convert ambient conversations into structured clinical documentation more efficiently.
- PRISMA Pre-Visit Planning: Consolidates referral details, care gaps, patient histories, and AI-generated recommendations before appointments, enabling care teams to prepare with a more comprehensive understanding of each patient’s needs.
- eClinicalTouch Offline Mode: Enables users to access schedules and patient information and capture Sunoh.ai conversations without an internet connection, helping maintain workflow continuity in areas with limited connectivity.
- healow Genie™: Expands AI-powered patient access by managing routine calls and requests, improving responsiveness for appointment scheduling and everyday patient services. Integration with AI Workbench further supports the automation of manual administrative tasks.
