3 MOST IMPORTANT THINGS TO LOOK FOR WHILE BUYING A NEW WATCH

Buying a new watch in the 21st century can both be an exciting and daunting task due to the multitude of options available in the market. Watches speak volumes about a person’s likes, dislikes, style preferences, and sometimes even their mood – in the case of collectors who often change their watch. To put it short, watches in actuality are an intimate expression of one’s inner self and selecting new watches for men and women is shaped often by the owners’ value systems and fashion preferences. It witnesses a person’s highs and lows and can become a family heirloom if looked after carefully.

With enterprising brands like W Zelezniak coming to the fore in Australasia, horophiles can purchase affordable luxury watches of wide-ranging patterns and designs from the comfort of their homes. However, there are certain things that one should keep in mind when buying new watches online. Read further to know in detail.

PAY ATTENTION TO THE MATERIAL

Stainless steel, leather, ceramic, and metal are some of the commonly used materials in manufacturing watches. Either watches are solely manufactured from one of these materials or a combination of these materials. A major advantage of watches made of stainless steel is that they have anti-allergic properties and are suitable for people with all types of skin. They are also rust-resistant and often come with an anti-glare coating. That is why watches made from stainless steel never go out of vogue.

In some parts of the world, leather bands are considered chicer than straps made of stainless steel. There are both chunky and sleek leather-made watches available in the market. The sleek and plain ones are good for formal occasions, whereas chunky straps generally have a casual outlook. Though ceramic watches are heat resistant, they are susceptible to scratches and tears. Combine your interests and look for authentic watches that will never go out of fashion.

THE DIAL

Though dial type is a matter of individual preference, certain things to keep in mind as dial design and its size are indices of one’s taste. One’s body type directly influences the weight and size of the dial that he chooses. A person with a heavy build may look for a bulkier dial that stands out once worn. The standard dial would be perfect for the ones with an average build.

Small dials would look attractive on small wrists, and thicker cases would be ideal for big wrists.
Nevertheless, whether to experiment with out of the box dial choices is completely up to the person. Just make sure that the dial that one chooses suits their wrist. There are no hard and fast rules regarding the same.

BUDGET

Before setting your eyes on a particular model or brand, acquaint yourself with the business side of watches. Determine the budget, narrow it down to all the feasible options you have, and decide whether spending your hard-earned money on the model under focus is worthwhile.

Look for enterprising brands that manufacture and sell premium quality watches for men and women at affordable rates. Good craftsmanship is all that matters. If an emerging brand sells watches with all the sought after features at reasonable price points, why should one go after luxurious watches from expensive brands? A cheaper timepiece from a reliable seller/brand will do the job better.
