AdvancedMD to Present Integrated Physician & Patient Workflow to Dermatology Practices

AdvancedMD, a provider of cloud technology for more than 3,500 dermatology practices nationwide, will introduce dermatologists to a new practice management model, Practice 2.0, at the Association of Dermatology Administrators & Managers (ADAM) and the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) Annual Meetings. Practice 2.0 approach is based on an integrated physician and patient workflow, tying together electronic health record (EHR), practice management, telemedicine, patient engagement and other software with billing, versus implementing unrelated systems designed for each individual task.

Transitioning to Practice 2.0 with AdvancedMD cloud technology will allow clinicians, managers and administrators at independent dermatology practices to enhance patient experience and clinical outcomes while running profitable practices. These outcomes are achieved through technologies that are seamlessly integrated to optimize administrative and clinical workflow efficiencies. For example, with the Practice 2.0 model, EHR, practice management and telemedicine records are located in one database and accessible with one application, eliminating copy-and-paste errors typical with three separate platforms. Telemedicine appointments can be viewed in the same master schedule as regular office visits and the appointment details are seamlessly forwarded to billing.

Attendees of the ADAM Meeting, February 27 – March 1, in Orlando, Fla., are invited to stop by AdvancedMD’s table in the exhibitor area. Attendees of the AAD Meeting, taking place March 3 – 7 in Orlando, Fla., will find AdvancedMD Practice 2.0 experts at booth 2177.

ADAM, AAD limited-time promotion
Independent full-time practice office managers, physicians and non-physician providers who visit AdvancedMD Practice 2.0 experts at the ADAM and AAD Meetings can take advantage of the limited-time promotion. Practices can save $250 on the AdvancedMD Pro Bundle, which includes eEligibility, AdvancedInsight, AdvancedBenchmarking, AdvancedPatient, AdvancedRx, AdvancedEPCS, AdvancedTelemedicine, AdvancedFax and two Preferred Vendor Lab Interfaces.
