Applications Your Business Needs

Are you struggling to get your business to take off? Consider if the following applications may help you.

QuickBooks

One of the most crucial applications every business needs is accounting software. QuickBooks is a popular option, and there are plans for businesses of all sizes. You can use the QuickBooks app on your phone or go to the website in a browser.

Any time you make a sale or spend money for your business, you can log it in QuickBooks. Sync it with your business bank account to make tracking everything easier. Then, you or your accountant can go through the transactions and verify everything QuickBooks can even help you prepare to pay taxes, at least if you’re a sole proprietor.

Trello

When looking at cloud native software, you can find programs that do different things. Trello is an essential tool for businesses with a lot of various projects. If you work by yourself, you can create boards that only you can access to help track different client projects or admin tasks.

Trello is also good if you have a team because you can add people to boards. Then, you can add people to tasks to assign them work. You can use Trello in your browser or as a mobile app, so you can stay up to date on everything no matter what device you use.

Gmail

Every business needs a good email service provider. You may be able to access email through your website host, but Gmail offers more features. The G Suite program lets you use Google’s email platform with your own domain, so it’s great if you use Gmail for your personal emails.

You also get access to Google products, such as Docs or Hangout. That’s useful if you need to conduct meetings or share documents with team members of clients. You don’t have to use a personal email, which can help you separate work stuff.

Google Docs

If you use Gmail, you might as well use Google Docs in your business. You can use the app on your phone or tablet or the browser version on your laptop. Docs is a word processor, so it’s great for drafting contracts or writing articles or sales page copy to send to clients.

The program is free, and you can share a link or add people via email. That way, you don’t have to download a Word document, make edits, and send the new version back to someone. It’s great for hosting company policies to share with employees as well, so you don’t have to print a bunch of documents.

Later

Social media is a crucial part of marketing for many businesses. But you may not have time to post to your social accounts at just the right time. Later and other apps make that easy because you can create and upload posts ahead of time, and they’ll publish when you want them to.

You can use Later to schedule posts to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and TikTok. There’s a free version so that you can test out the features, and you can upgrade for more capabilities. That way, you can keep up a good posting schedule without having to sacrifice other tasks.

Canva

Even if you have graphic designers on your team, you may want to use Canva. It’s a graphic design program that works in your browser and in a mobile app. You can design logos, infographics, and social media content.

If you use the paid version, you can save your brand colors and fonts for easy access. Then, you and other employees can create something quickly. Canva is easy to use, and you don’t need any design experience. The templates make it super easy to create a new design, and you can download it and post it wherever.

When you want your business to grow, you should look at the apps you use. Keep these applications in mind to help streamline your work.
