Project Tiki’s Electronic Health Record is an Official Honoree for Mobile Applications in the Health & Fitness category in the 18th Annual Webby Awards. The Webby Awards are presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS).

Newport Beach, CA (PRWEB) April 16, 2014

Project Tiki announced today that it is an Official Honoree for Mobile Applications in the Health & Fitness category in the 18th Annual Webby Awards. Hailed as the “Internet’s highest honor” by The New York Times, The Webby Awards, presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), is the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet. The IADAS, which nominates and selects The Webby Award Winners, is comprised of web industry experts, including media mogul Arianna Huffington, Skype CEO Tony Bates, Mozilla CEO and Chair Mitchell Baker, Instagram co-founder Kevin Systrom, mobile-phone inventor Martin Cooper, and Creator of the Jif Steve Wilhite.

Project Tiki’s My Wellnesss Journal is the only mobile Electronic Health Record (EHR) record to be honored. It securely organizes your family’s health information in one mobile app. My Wellness Journal records your medical history, medications, vaccinations, family history, procedures and more. Going beyond the average Electronic Health Record, My Wellness Journal and its easy menus integrates with your calendar and contacts, and enables you to use your camera to snap and store information.

My Wellness Journal is available now in the iTunes App Store or at http://www.mywellnessjournalapp.com.

“Honorees like Project Tiki are setting the standard for innovation and creativity on the Internet,” said David-Michel Davies, Executive Director of The Webby Awards. “It is an incredible achievement to be selected among the best from the 12,000 entries we received this year.”

“My Wellness Journal helps you manage your family’s health files as easily as you manage your music. We are so proud of the entire team who collaborated to create this consumer-friendly, portable Electronic Health Record,” said John Hobson, CEO of Project Tiki. “We are honored to be recognized with such fellow honorees as Nike, Walgreens, CVS, IDEO, and the American Red Cross.”

The 18th Annual Webby Awards received 12,000 entries from over 60 countries and all 50 states. Out of all the 12,000 entries submitted, fewer than 15% received this honor and were deemed an Official Honoree.
