Apr 29 : Regional Medical Center’s patient portal goes live

ehr incentive audits

The RMC’s patient portal — “My Patient Record” — is now live on the TRMCHealth.org website.

RMC’s “My Patient Record” is a secure online heath management tool.

“Now patients can securely access portions of their RMC Electronic Medical Record online from anywhere the internet is available,” said Marilyn Tremblay, RMC vice president and chief information officer.

“Information that you can view and print includes labs, documents, medications, allergies and visit summaries. You can also use ‘My Patient Record’ to communicate securely with your physician office for an appointment or questions,” Tremblay said.

“To access your record, contact an RMC Registration staff member, or your RMC physician office, and they can send you an invitation to access your record,” she added. “It only takes a few minutes to show a picture ID and verify some of your information for the invitation to be sent. Once you receive the invitation via your email, click on the link and answer the questions to complete your registration.”

Julia Yawn, RMC’s vice president of Patient Services and chief nursing officer, noted, “This new process is such a convenience; I have used it and am so impressed with how easy it is to access my medical information so quickly. I encourage all patients to use this new service.”

Only adults who are 18 years and older are permitted to access their records at this time.

For technical questions about the portal website itself, call 877-621-8014 between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays.

For questions concerning your RMC hospital record, call RMC’s Health Information Management Department at 803-395-2272. Contact your RMC physician office directly with questions concerning your RMC physician office record.
