The Atropos Evidence Agent, a leading AI solution for real-world evidence generation, is partnering with Microsoft to deliver personalized clinical insights at the point of care via Dragon Copilot.
PALO ALTO, Calif.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—Atropos Health, a leader in transforming real-world clinical data into personalized real-world evidence (RWE), has announced the launch of the Atropos Evidence™ Agent—an advanced AI agent designed to generate tailored RWE. As part of this initiative, Atropos is now delivering personalized clinical evidence directly within the electronic health record (EHR) at Stanford Health Care, leveraging data from ChatEHR to support more informed, real-time care decisions.
In collaboration with Microsoft, Atropos Health is also piloting the integration of ambient data from Dragon Copilot with the Evidence Agent to further enhance evidence-based care at the point of service.
The Atropos Evidence™ Agent accesses patient records, including key details like the “reason for visit” through ChatEHR—Stanford’s AI tool that converts patient information into plain language. Without requiring a physician to initiate a query, the Agent automatically generates relevant RWE to support treatment decisions. This evidence is seamlessly embedded into the EHR, allowing clinicians to remain in their workflow while receiving valuable insights, ultimately saving time and enhancing care delivery.
“Atropos is using agentic AI to embed real-world evidence directly into clinical workflows, delivering patient-specific insights that allow providers to address questions quickly and accurately,” said Dr. Michael Pfeffer, Chief Information and Digital Officer at Stanford Medicine. “This collaboration showcases how ambient AI, ChatEHR, and agentic AI can work together to improve outcomes for both patients and providers.”
The Atropos Evidence™ Agent is now available for integration into clinical workflows across all U.S.-based health systems. A demo video is available for those interested in seeing the technology in action.
“We developed the Atropos Evidence Agent with the same high standards we apply to all of our solutions before deployment,” said Dr. Brigham Hyde, CEO and co-founder of Atropos Health. “We’ve implemented strong safeguards to ensure the accuracy and quality of patient-specific evidence generated by the Agent. Our integration at Stanford Health Care demonstrates how agentic AI can enhance the physician experience, and we remain committed to advancing AI technology to bridge the evidence gap in healthcare.”
“We’re at a pivotal moment where AI is addressing some of healthcare’s most pressing challenges,” said Peter Durlach, Corporate Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at Microsoft Health & Life Sciences. “Our partnership with Atropos Health aims to improve provider productivity, ease administrative burdens, and enable more powerful clinical decision-making.”
Healthcare organizations use Atropos Health’s evidence-generation tools through GENEVA OS®, which runs within their own cloud environments. Alongside the Green Button®, GENEVA OS users can access Alexandria®—a curated library of over 100,000 studies, including active clinical trial designs. These studies can be re-executed on local data to generate new, personalized evidence and insights.
Additionally, Atropos Health has announced a no-cost trial of the Atropos Evidence Agent, now available to U.S.-based clinicians seeking evidence-based answers to clinical questions.
