Aug 05 : Frederick Memorial Home Health Implements HealthWyse EMR

mu stage 2

Maryland-based Frederick Memorial Home Health chooses leading home health EMR software provider HealthWyse to support its operations.

Leading electronic medical record software provider HealthWyse today announced that Frederick, MD-based Frederick Memorial Home Care has implemented the HealthWyse electronic medical record suite in support of its home health and hospice operations.

The agency is part of the Frederick Regional Health System and has delivered adult and pediatric home care for more than 35 years to the residents of Frederick County.

Director Heidi Brown noted: “We are excited about the strategic direction of HealthWyse and about their commitment to our agency. By implementing HealthWyse, we will simplify operations and the integrated EMR will allow us to deliver services to our clients more efficiently across the continuum of care.”

In addition to improved support across the organization, the agency is seeking to leverage HealthWyse’s dashboards to provide real-time insights into clinical and operational metrics. The data will allow agency leadership to support systematic improvements in both clinical and operational outcomes.

Ms. Brown also noted that MobileWyse, the point of care offering, has increased clinician satisfaction and supported efficient documentation in the home, reducing the burden on clinicians to document after completing their daily scheduled visits.

HealthWyse Chief Executive Officer Graham Barnes said: “All of us at HealthWyse are excited to see that Frederick is off to such a strong start using HealthWyse. We look forward to building a strong, strategic relationship with them to enhance their continued growth and success.“
