tennessee hospital

VersaSuite v.8.2 has achieved ONC HIT 2014 Edition Complete EHR Certification, which designates that the software is capable of supporting eligible providers and eligible hospitals with meeting the Stage 1 and Stage 2 Meaningful Use measures required to qualify for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).  VersaSuite v.8.2 was certified on August 7, 2014 by ICSA Labs, an Office of the National Coordinator-Authorized Certification Body (ONC-ACB) and is compliant in accordance with applicable criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS).

“We believe that the certification of our Ambulatory and Inpatient complete EHR is a vital benchmark for performance that should be used by eligible providers and hospitals to evaluate their EHR needs” said Scott leach, VP of sales and marketing/business development, VersaSuite. “Not only did we meet the minimum set of criteria for certification, we also tested on all available optional measures.”

ICSA Labs, an independent division of Verizon, offers vendor-neutral testing and certification.  ONC HIT 2014 Edition Certification is granted to those technologies that are capable of meeting the more rigorous testing criteria developed to support providers and hospitals who wish to demonstrate Stage 2 meaningful use, which focuses on the capability of health IT to deliver higher quality patient care and exchange clinical information securely.

VersaSuite’s certification numbers are 140206R00 and 140207R00. ONC HIT certification conferred by ICSA Labs does not represent an endorsement of the certified EHR technology by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

The clinical quality measures to which VersaSuite v.8.2’s Ambulatory product has been certified include: CMS124, CMS127, CMS131, CMS146, CMS69, CMS117, CMS142, CMS143, CMS165, CMS167, CMS138, CMS147 and CMS 155.

The clinical quality measures to which VersaSuite v.8.2’s Inpatient product has been certified include: CMS32, CMS71, CMS72, CMS108, CMS114, CMS55, CMS107, CMS102, CMS73, CMS91, CMS104, CMS105, CMS109, CMS190, CMS110 and CMS111.

The additional software relied upon to comply with one or more of the ambulatory and inpatient certification criteria include:

  • First Data Bank
  • Surescripts
  • PresenTense Time Server
  • Medline Plus

The additional types of costs that an Eligible Provider and Hospital would pay to implement this Complete EHR’s capabilities in order to attempt to meet meaningful use objectives and measures include: One-time deployment fee, Yearly maintenance and support fee, Yearly drug database fee, Yearly e-services fee.
