Can artificial intelligence (AI) help prevent suicides? According to the study, it is conceivable……

Researchers discovered that artificial intelligence (AI) can help doctors identify patients who are at danger of suicide, potentially saving lives.

The study examined two approaches: one employed automatic pop-up notifications to push clinicians to act, and the other passively provided danger information.

What are the results? The pop-up alerts led to clinicians performing suicide risk assessments 42 percent of the time, compared to only 4% with the passive system.
