CCS Oncology Selects CureMD Specialty EHR

ccs oncology

Leading provider of Oncology-specific care solutions, CCS Oncology chooses CureMD to deliver better healthcare solutions.

CCS Oncology, a Buffalo-based cancer care conglomerate, has selected CureMD, the leading provider of specialty specific Electronic Health Records, Practice Management, population health and patient engagement solutions to enhance the delivery of care across its rapidly expanding network.

Buffalo’s largest cancer care network spent months evaluating the top EHRs in the industry. In the end, it was CureMD’s “All-in-One” Oncology EHR that was selected due to its advanced chemotherapy management modules, evidence-based chemotherapy regimen libraries, automated drug dosage calculations, drug utilization forecasting, therapy flow sheets, DICOM/PACS imaging, patient engagement and population health management.

“Helping physicians improve the quality of care has been our priority since inception,” said Bilal Hashmat, CEO at CureMD. “Every provider works differently and CureMD provides a solution that is adaptable to their unique specialty workflows. CSS Oncology’s decision to join our network is a testament to CureMD’s comprehensive Oncology EHR solution.”

CCS Oncology provides state-of-the-art treatment options for all types and stages of cancer at numerous locations throughout New York. Their services include breast surgery, colorectal surgery and gynecologic oncology, medical and radiation oncology, as well as internal medicine and urology among others.

“Our main objective is to provide the latest technology and services for our patients. Teaming up with CureMD made complete sense for our patient centric model,” said W. Sam Yi, MD, Chief Executive Officer and Medical Director of CCS Oncology.

As part of the contract, CureMD will provide CCS with Interfaces to Lynx Medication Management, Varian Aria for Radiation Oncology and University of Buffalo Patient Safety Organization. For more, visit http://www.curemd.com/oncology-emr.asp
