Central Logic Announces Additions to the Executive Team: Maija Costello, Samantha Endres, and Robert Zdon

Individuals bring a wealth of healthcare experience to the positions of Vice President of People & Culture, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Marketing Officer

Central Logic, the healthcare industry’s innovator in patient orchestration and tools to accelerate access to care, announces the appointments of three individuals to the company’s executive team: Maija Costello, Vice President of People & Culture; Samantha Endres, CPA, Chief Financial Officer; and Robert Zdon, Chief Marketing Officer.

“The deep healthcare and leadership experience of all three new executive team members will support our core mission of empowering our clients to deliver the right patient care at the right location without delay,” stated Central Logic CEO Angie Franks. “It’s especially important during this difficult time in healthcare to make sure we’re onboarding professionals of the highest caliber who understand the extreme challenges of health systems, hospitals, and public health agencies. I feel confident that Maija, Sam, and Bob embody all of these qualities.”

Maija Costello

As Vice President of People & Culture, Costello will drive the execution of Central Logic’s talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, and culture initiatives.

“People are our greatest asset and a key differentiator for Central Logic; they enable us to continue the development and delivery of compelling solutions to our clients,” said Franks. “Maija will play a pivotal role in our ability to attract and retain the very best talent.”

Costello possesses 12+ years of experience in healthcare and people operations. Prior to joining Central Logic, she was in Management Consulting with Accenture, where her responsibilities included leading enterprise readiness, change management and human resources transformation initiatives for a variety of health payer and provider organizations. Other previous healthcare-related leadership include People Operations at Bloom Health (now Empyeran Benefits Solution) in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. Among Costello’s educational credentials is an MBA degree from the University of Minnesota-Carlson School of Management.

Samantha Endres

As Chief Financial Officer, Endres will oversee management of the company’s finances, including financial planning, risk management, financial reporting, and data analysis.

“Sam is a very accomplished financial executive with more than 20 years of progressive leadership experience,” said Franks. “Her proven track record of process management, financial operations improvement, and business development will be a tremendous asset to Central Logic.”

Endres’ healthcare experience includes serving as Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis for Healthland, a provider of EHR software to small and rural hospitals nationwide. Most recently, she was Chief Financial Officer of West Academic Publishing. Other previous positions include Senior Director, Finance, at Thomson Reuters. Andres earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Augsburg University and an MBA degree in finance from Metropolitan State University.

Robert Zdon

As Chief Marketing Officer, Zdon will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and execution of Central Logic’s marketing and visibility initiatives.

“Bob is a seasoned, disciplined marketing strategist and leader with an extensive background in healthcare,” said Franks. “He understands our market, and I’m confident that he and his team will contribute to our revenue growth through effective marketing, advertising, and public relations.”

Most recently, Zdon was President of RAZR Marketing and Grayduck Health, a Minneapolis-based marketing and technology agency. Before that, he held senior leadership roles at other healthcare- and technology-focused companies, including Healthland, Universal Hospital Services, Hill-Rom, and Allina Health. Zdon earned bachelor’s degrees in electrical engineering and biomedical engineering from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
