ChartLogic enters new agreement with Change Healthcare

ChartLogic, Inc., a healthcare technology solutions company, has entered into an agreement with Change Healthcare to provide a streamlined lab ordering system integrated with ChartLogic’s Electronic Medical Record (EMR). The relationship enables ChartLogic’s providers to easily transact with hundreds of labs nationwide and simplifies the way providers and labs interact in the marketplace.

The ChartLogic Labs module allows providers to process lab orders, view results, create test groups for common tests and build reports in one centralized location. Furthermore, through integration with Change Healthcare’s Clinical Network, the ChartLogic Labs module seamlessly connects providers to labs across the nation, eliminating labor intensive point-to-point interfaces and complex compendium management issues.

Improving office efficiencies, patient care and profitability for practices has always been ChartLogic’s mission and the new Labs module showcases our dedication to meeting providers’ clinical and administrative needs,” commented Zubin Emsley, chief executive officer for ChartLogic. “This new module is essential to improving provider workflows so they can focus more of their time on care quality, while protecting their bottom line. Change Healthcare’s robust Clinical Network paired with our intuitive solutions will help improve accuracy, care coordination and outcomes across the continuum of care.”

Change Healthcare’s Clinical Network, a cloud-based order and results solution, seamlessly connects ChartLogic’s EMR to more than 650 labs and radiology centers nationwide through a single, standards-based connection, enabling smarter healthcare for providers. In 2015 alone, the Change Healthcare Clinical Network supported more than 70 million clinical transactions.

ChartLogic has been developing and delivering healthcare technology solutions since 1994. The company offers a full ambulatory EHR suite, including electronic medical record, practice management, e-prescribing, patient portal and more, as well as offering complete medical billing services.

Change Healthcare is a leading provider of software and analytics, network solutions and technology-enabled services that optimize communications, payments and actionable insights designed to enable smarter healthcare.
