Clearwave Solution achieves certification at Allscripts Developer Program

Sisu Healthcare IT Solutions Wins Contract with Redwood Area Hospital

Clearwave Corporation announced today that its cloud-based self-service patient check-in solution has been certified by Allscripts through the award-winning Allscripts Developer Program (ADP). Allscripts open platform and APIs enable Clearwave to offer Allscripts users many benefits, including automating the front-end registration and check-in process, taking payments at the kiosk, checking eligibility in real-time, and shortening patient time spent in the waiting room.

Clearwave’s powerful, integrated software and registration kiosks are intuitive and easy to use, streamlining patient registration and driving increased revenue. On average, Clearwave users experience:

  •     50% reductions in patient check-in time
  •     50% increased collections at time of service
  •     70% reduction of claim denials
  •     30% staff reallocation, improving operational efficiencies

With the integration into Allscripts practice management (PM) platform, users will have the benefit of automatic updates for basic demographic information in both the PM and electronic health record (EHR). This includes access to scanned card images in both systems, and the ability to view payments collected at the kiosk as a posted daily batch for each location.

Users will enjoy the hassle-free, automatic updates from Clearwave as patients make changes to their accounts at the kiosk, which includes posting a date for HIPAA signatures to update the HIPAA Date Field within Allscripts. This not only improves user workflow by eliminating repetitive tasks, but it also gives staff more time to assist patients and reduces stress from payment collections and manual updates.

“Integration through the Allscripts Developer Program enables us to help practice operations by seamlessly integrating both the front-end and back-end patient registration processes,” said Gerard White, President & CEO, Clearwave Corporation. “This frees up time for staff who are manually scanning cards and updating patient records, allowing them to focus more on the patient’s needs. This partnership enables physicians using Allscripts to see more patients each day.”
