More than 160 feet tall, the 9,000 square foot display is thought to be the world’s largest Ruby logo ever printed, and will be seen by more than 350,000 motorists per day. The wallscape invites Java developers to have “a better cup of coffee” by learning Ruby on Rails at CoverMyMeds.
“We’re doubling down on the idea that great people can learn new technologies,” said Gilbert, “This is an opportunity for developers to make the jump to a technology stack that is increasingly viewed as the future of the Internet.”
Ruby on Rails is one of the hottest technologies for building the economy’s next generation of companies. Already used extensively by Silicon Valley’s consumer Internet companies, the technology is ideal for building cloud-based services in healthcare IT.
