eClinicalWorks Kicks off 5th Annual Health Center Summit

healthcare it solutions

eClinicalWorks®, a leader in ambulatory healthcare IT solutions, today kicks off its 5th Annual Health Center Summit at the Boston Renaissance Waterfront Hotel with approximately 300 health center representatives attending. This two-day event will consist of interactive sessions, highlight best practices and demonstrate the latest advancements in electronic health records (EHR), patient engagement and population health management.

More than 54% of the federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) across the country are currently utilizing eClinicalWorks comprehensive EHR solution. Health centers utilize EHRs and practice management solutions to deliver high quality, affordable, evidence-based care to their medically underserved patient populations. Thus far, six eClinicalWorks health center customers have been awarded the HIMSS Nicholas E. Davies Award, the most recent being Florida’s Community Health Centers, Inc.

“We are excited to connect with health centers that are part of the eClinicalWorks community during this event,” said Girish Navani, CEO and co-founder of eClinicalWorks. “The learning that occurs here is valuable not only to the health centers, but also to eClinicalWorks as we continuously enhance our offerings to reflect the needs of our customers. Our Health Center Summit is always an exciting and educational event that we look forward to hosting.”

Health Center Summit attendees will have the ability to interact with peers from around the country and hear best practices. Behavioral health enhancements will be showcased along with optical and dental features. Health centers that are part of the eClinicalWorks community utilize a fully-integrated technology platform that encompasses medical, dental, behavioral and optical modules for more effectively treating their patients across settings. Leveraging eClinicalWorks technology will provide the tools for achieving shared savings for accountable care organizations and Patient-Centered Medical Homes. Attendees will also receive an exclusive look at further enhancements products including telehealth, eClinicalTouch and the eClinicalWorks Kiosk.
