Epic recognizes 64 health systems on its 2025 Honor Roll

Epic has named 64 U.S. health systems to its 2025 Honor Roll.

Established in 2017, Epic’s voluntary Honor Roll Good Maintenance Grant Program offers financial incentives to health systems that implement the company’s best practices and adopt its latest features.

To qualify, organizations are evaluated on multiple criteria, including provider and nurse usability, enterprise data and analytics, financial performance, health information exchange, infrastructure, patient experience, population health, and system currency.

The incentives are substantial. For example, NYC Health + Hospitals received a $748,000 grant for making the 2025 Honor Roll. TidalHealth in Salisbury, Md., earned $261,000, while SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, N.Y., was awarded $185,000.
