ESO Solutions, Inc., a leading provider of software and interoperability solutions, announced that its latest product, ESO Electronic Health Record (EHR), has earned designation as compliant with the National EMS Information System (NEMSIS) Version 3.3.4. The compliance designation was awarded in both the “Collect Data” and “Receive and Process” categories.

NEMSIS 3 represents the national standard in data related to emergency medical services. Developed to enhance reporting between EMS and hospitals, NEMSIS 3 is aimed at improving data quality, enhancing ability to assess EMS performance, augmenting the flexibility of the standard for state adoption and aligning with Health Level 7 (HL7) standards.
In addition to EHR, ESO offers a suite of products, including NEMSIS 3–compliant ESO Health Data Exchange (HDE), which enables seamless exchange of patient data, giving EMS agencies access to much-needed clinical outcomes and billing data while providing hospitals with prehospital data in any format.
