Pain Management and Care For the Terminally Ill

Overview:
The program endeavors to provide the latest updates and recent advances in the field of neurosurgery. Neurosurgeons, neurosurgery residents, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and advanced health practitioners can benefit from this program in the treatment of neurosurgical problems. Now in its thirteenth year, it will cover the entire spectrum of neurosurgical topics.

Objectives:
An attendee completing this course will be able to:

  • Incorporate into practice the latest surgical techniques in the management of minimally-invasive spinal disorders;
  • Improve the management of brain tumors using the most up-to-date data and studies;
  • Recognize and interpret the nuances of pain management in spinal disorders and treat accordingly;
  • Improve patient outcomes through medical and surgical management of pituitary disorders;
  • Provide modern management of cerebrovascular disorders based on the most current data;
  • Use modern management techniques in the treatment of neurotrauma;
  • Use evidence-based data in performing pediatric neurosurgery.
