FPT Teams Up with Kyndryl to Drive AI-Led Enterprise Transformation

fpt- EMR industry

Vietnamese information technology (IT) company FPT has entered into a strategic partnership with Kyndryl, a U.S.-based provider of enterprise technology services, to accelerate digital transformation for enterprises across North America, Europe, the United Kingdom, and Japan.

According to a statement released by FPT last Wednesday, the collaboration aims to deliver comprehensive, end-to-end solutions that enable seamless and scalable digital transformation for clients.

Building on the success of previous joint efforts, the non-exclusive partnership will focus on a collaborative go-to-market approach, targeting high-growth sectors such as banking, financial services, insurance (BFSI), and retail.

As part of the agreement, FPT and Kyndryl will jointly offer and support application-infrastructure solutions, including application services, AI and data analytics, cloud migration, IT consulting, and infrastructure operations — all optimized for performance and cost-efficiency.

The two firms also plan to co-develop intellectual property (IP) and sales accelerators to further enhance the value delivered under this partnership.

Leveraging their combined expertise — along with established partnerships with global tech leaders like Microsoft and NVIDIA — FPT and Kyndryl aim to deliver significant commercial impact.

Beyond BFSI and retail, the collaboration is expected to extend into other key industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, logistics, and energy.

Over the past several years, FPT and Kyndryl have deepened their collaboration in AI, applications, and data services, embedding intelligence across a range of enterprise solutions.

Michael Bradshaw, Global Practice Leader for Applications, Data, and AI at Kyndryl, emphasized the significance of the partnership in advancing digital transformation across North America, Europe, the UK, and Japan.
In 2024, FPT and Kyndryl successfully executed multiple high-impact projects in application management services (AMS), AI, data, and application modernization for clients in the U.S., Japan, the UK, and Germany.

This strong collaboration has opened the door to expanded initiatives in Ireland, where both firms are committed to nurturing the next generation of tech talent and advancing practical AI applications.

Since entering the Americas in 2008, FPT has significantly expanded its presence, now operating 14 offices across the United States, Canada, and Latin America.

This growth has been propelled by strategic acquisitions, including Intellinet, the IT services division of Intertec International, and Cardinal Peak.

In 2024, FPT also secured a $225 million contract with a leading global technology provider, reinforcing the Americas as one of the company’s largest and fastest-growing international markets.
