Franciscan Alliance Extends HealthTrust Relationship

HealthTrust

HealthTrust℠ today announced that Franciscan Alliance, one of the largest Catholic healthcare systems in the Midwest, signed a renewal agreement that extends their longstanding relationship an additional five years, through December 2020.

Under terms of the agreement, Franciscan Alliance will continue partnering with HealthTrust for its 14 acute care hospitals, including nationally recognized Centers of Health Care Excellence serving patients in Indiana, Illinois and Michigan. Franciscan Alliance has realized year-over-year incremental value from HealthTrust’s committed portfolio, and significant savings from custom agreements negotiated by HealthTrust’s medical device team.

“HealthTrust’s portfolio pricing and custom sourcing expertise have played a big role in helping us exceed our supply cost goals each year,” says Matt Mayer, vice president of Supply Chain at Franciscan Alliance. “We value the alignment of stakeholders in this collective, and are confident of continued value to support our mission.”

“Franciscan Alliance is a great partner with ambitious plans, and we are honored to continue our relationship in support of those ambitions, says HealthTrust President and CEO Ed Jones. “This renewal once again affirms the value of a committed model.”
