Galen Healthcare Solutions, a services and solutions company focusing on healthcare information technology, today announced that Jason Carmichael has been named Chief Executive Officer replacing Joel Splan who has held the position for the past two years.

Mr. Splan will continue to serve on the Galen Board of Directors and become CEO of PinpointCare, for which he has been Interim CEO during the past year. PinpointCare is a software company with a powerful platform for value-based payment models.

Mr. Carmichael, Matt Nice and Steve McQueen founded Galen Healthcare Solutions in 2005. Mr. Nice will continue as Galen’s President and Mr. McQueen will remain Chairman.
The Company also announced the appointments of Mike Dow as Chief Information Officer, Erin Sain as Chief Operating Officer, Justin Campbell as Vice President of Marketing, and Ray Lape as Director of Technical Services.
