gMed, a Modernizing Medicine company, announced its annual user conference, the gMed Summit, a unique opportunity for gastroenterology health IT customers to learn more about the latest industry trends, top compliance issues, new offerings, gMed’s product roadmap for 2017 and more. Dr. Abraham Verghese, national bestselling author of “Cutting for Stone” and a prominent voice in medicine, will provide the keynote for the event, being held from November 18–20, 2016, at the Waldorf Astoria Orlando in Orlando, Fla.

The gMed Summit is a three-day event that will feature pre-conference training workshops, educational activities, networking opportunities and speaker sessions for private practice, ambulatory surgery center (ASC) and hospital users. The pre-conference workshops are designed to help improve customer skills and workflow for gGastro™, the gastroenterology-specific electronic health record (EHR) system named Top Ambulatory EHR for gastroenterology by Black Book Rankings’ in 2016 and for six consecutive years. Roundtable discussions will help users share knowledge to improve their daily routines.
