Greenway Health Receives Top U.S. Ambulatory Technology Leadership Award from Frost & Sullivan

Ambulatory Technology Leadership Award

Greenway’s innovation, forward-looking solutions that deliver tangible value in improving population health recognized

Carrollton, Georgia — January 12, 2016 — Frost & Sullivan, an independent leader for nearly half a century in uncovering “the next best thing” in industries, including healthcare, is recognizing Greenway Health as “an exciting frontrunner” in advanced health information technology by presenting the company and its ambulatory information platform with the 2015 Enabling Technology Leadership Award for the U.S. Ambulatory Electronic Health Record Market.

The award recognizes Greenway Health’s “persistent drive for technological sophistication” that streamlines major provider challenges and embraces disparate technologies to improve outcomes as the market continues to transform.

Driving care coordination, patient engagement and provider profitability

Frost & Sullivan’s report states, “Driving tangible value is key for Greenway Health … it offers a wide variety of healthcare solutions that range from electronic health record to practice management, medical billing, revenue cycle management, analytics, clinical connectivity, and population health solutions. From Frost & Sullivan’s independent research, it’s evident that Greenway’s technology is diverse enough to coordinate care, meet regulation, initiate patient engagement, and improve profitability for providers.”

Using a proprietary Decision Support Scorecard to objectively analyze performance, Frost & Sullivan has rated Greenway Health a 9.0 (excellent) on a 10-point scale. Nearest competitors received a 7.0 and 6.5, respectively. The stringent criteria included such things as commitment to innovation and creativity, application diversity, price/performance value, brand equity, and customers’ purchase, service, training, and ownership experience.

‘Futuristic applications’

Beyond simply recognizing Greenway Health’s EHR capabilities, Frost & Sullivan cites the company’s overall ambulatory platform that includes “futuristic applications,” which not only help providers deliver care, but reconcile patient data, stratify risk, streamline revenue, track quality compliance, drive patient engagement, and facilitate personalized remote care.

Among Greenway Health’s other innovations in mobility, clinical connectivity and patient engagement, the report specifically calls out the new Greenway Community population health management solution that enables providers to make better data-driven decisions. The company’s open API, cloud-based Greenway Exchange and popular Greenway Marketplace online app store are also cited for fostering interoperability and accelerating adoption of innovation delivered by both Greenway Health and carefully evaluated third parties.

“As reimbursement declines, regulation evolves and competition intensifies, healthcare enterprises become vulnerable to poor profitability,” Frost & Sullivan notes. “Greenway Health alleviates the pressure of many providers by enabling them to operate in an agile and interoperable HIT environment … (one) that not only helps customers meet quality compliance, but also to thrive within a risk-based reimbursement program.”

The next decade of healthcare

“As Frost & Sullivan concluded in its report, Greenway delivers solutions that support not only providers’ current needs, but constantly evolve to anticipate the challenges of the next decade of healthcare,” said Greenway Health CEO Tee Green. “We’re extremely pleased to have the Greenway team’s delivery of our commitment to serve, connect and care recognized by this prestigious company.”

Greenway Health will officially receive the award at a Jan. 13 event in San Diego, where Frost & Sullivan will recognize companies, strategies, processes and executives that have achieved world-class performance.
