Griffin Eye Clinic Implements Self-Service Solution

Clearwave Corporation is pleased to announce a new client relationship with Griffin Eye Clinic located in Griffin, Georgia.

Griffin Eye Clinic is dedicated to providing its patients with the personalized care they deserve using only the latest, most innovative techniques in eye care. The clinic offers a variety of skills to help restore and maintain optimal vision health including: cataract surgery, oculoplastic, eyeglasses, refractive surgery evaluations, and treatment for macular degeneration.

“We chose Clearwave’s patient registration solution and platform because it just made sense. The faster check-in and patient tracking statuses were things we didn’t realize our practice needed until Clearwave. We love how easy it is to verify eligibility and review updated information with the patient without the time-consuming paperwork. Our staff feels the difference since implementing Clearwave in the time they have free to assist and welcome patients. It is truly a solution that works,” stated Bonny Shockley, Practice Manager at Griffin Eye Clinic.

Griffin Eye Clinic implemented Clearwave’s registration solution, which allows patients to check in faster, spend less time in the waiting room, and allows patients to have a more accurate picture of his/her insurance benefits. The Clearwave registration solution even allows the patient to pay outstanding balances right at the kiosk.

Clearwave’s state of the art patient registration station tightly integrates to any PM or HIS including: Nextgen, Allscripts, Cerner, GE, Greenway, McKesson, Meditech, and SRS Soft. Data from the patient’s driver’s license and insurance cards is read using optical character recognition, eliminating typos and speeding up registration. Clearwave is connected to over 700 insurance companies, providing real-time insurance verification.

“We are excited about adding Griffin Eye Clinic to our list of satisfied customers. They understand the value of creating a registration environment that meets the needs of the organization, while at the same time increasing patient satisfaction and efficiency,” commented Gerard White, President and CEO of Clearwave Corporation.
