Health Navigator’s Diagnosis Engine Adds Extra Layer of Clinical Detail to Data Shared with Clinicians via Tyto Care’s Remote Exam Solution, Creating Most Comprehensive Data Set in The Industry
Health Navigator, the leading company that delivers clinical content for digital health, telemedicine, and eHealth applications, today announced its partnership with Tyto Care, an innovative telehealth company enabling live telehealth visits and comprehensive medical examinations. As a result of this partnership, the Health Navigator symptom checker is now integrated into the latest version of Tyto Care’s telehealth platform, providing more comprehensive clinical data to healthcare providers and clinicians.
Health Navigator’s symptom checker is a proprietary knowledge-based inference engine that factors in age, gender, pregnancy status, symptoms, known medical problems, and other clinical factors to generate a list of possible causes (pre-diagnoses) and triage recommendations for a specific symptom or problem. This system utilizes a structured database of curated content and acts as a digital health assistant to guide patients through their sikiş interaction with digital health tools. The symptom checker will be integrated into the Tyto Care solution, a hand-held modular examination tool and telehealth platform used to examine the heart, lungs, skin, ears, throat, and abdomen, and measure body temperature, anywhere, anytime.

The symptom checker will provide an extra layer of clinical patient data to the healthcare provider upon initiating a telehealth session using Tyto. Armed with the highest quality of symptom data, patient history information, and the Tyto physical examinations, Tyto Care will have one of the most comprehensive datasets available in the industry. This will further inform healthcare providers’ diagnoses and treatment plans. Symptom data can be sent to a clinician upfront for use during a live telehealth visit, allowing the doctor to guide the patient through the most pertinent exams in real time, or ahead of an ‘exam and forward’ offline telehealth session along with Tyto exam data. The additional data will help shorten the length of telehealth sessions and reduce the provider’s need to perform follow-up visits, saving both physicians and patients precious time and money while maintaining the highest standards of medical care.
