Jul 09 : QuicDoc® Enterprise Version 8.0 Receives ONC-ACB Certification

onc-acb certification

DocuTrac, a leading developer of electronic medical records software for the behavioral health industry, announced that QuicDoc Enterprise Version 8.0 has been tested and certified under the Drummond Group’s Electronic Health Records Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Certification Body (ONC-ACB) program. This Electronic Health Records (EHR) software is compliant in accordance with the criteria adopted by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

“Our entire staff was involved in achieving ONC 2014 Edition certification. Their perseverance and dedication enables us to provide highly intuitive, customizable, and certified EHR software to the behavioral and mental health professionals. Our commitment to obtain 2014 edition certification demonstrates our determination to remain a viable behavioral health software provider well into the future,” says Jim Miller, Director of Quality and Compliance.

Drummond Group’s ONC-ACB certification program certifies that EHRs meet the meaningful use criteria for either eligible provider or hospital technology. In turn, healthcare providers using the EHR systems of certified vendors are qualified to receive federal stimulus monies upon demonstrating meaningful use of the technology – a key component of the federal government’s push to improve clinical care delivery through the adoption and effective use of EHRs by U.S. healthcare providers.

QuicDoc Enterprise, which met the requirements for EHR Modular (Ambulatory) Certification, is a complete solution for clinical records management and is available as both a cloud hosted system and a client-server system.
“Leveraging information technology for healthcare initiatives provides the opportunity to deliver a high-level quality of care and efficiency which essentially benefits and enhances the overall patient experience,” says Rik Drummond, CEO of the Drummond Group Inc. “We have been testing software for more than a decade and will continue to provide our extensive experience testing and certifying complex systems for multiple industries, as well as ensuring interoperability and security remain key components in the growing healthcare industry.”
This EHR Module is 2014 compliant and has been certified by an ONC-ACB in accordance with the applicable certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. This certification does not represent an endorsement by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services or guarantee the receipt of incentive payments. DocuTrac, Inc. received Ambulatory Certification on June 19, 2014 for QuicDoc Enterprise v8.0, Certification ID number 1314E01P3YODEAF; the Clinical Quality Measures Certified are as follows: CMS002v3, CMS068v3, CMS069v2, CMS137v2, CMS138v2, CMS156v2, CMS161v2, CMS165v2, CMS169v2; additional software used: MS HealthVault, DrFirst Rcopia; where applicable, the certification criteria to which each EHR module has been tested and certified. This certified product may require monthly or annual fees to establish and support an online patient service portal; one-time set up fees and annual support fees for e-prescribing, secure messaging, lab interfaces and data exchange interfaces may also apply.
