Global healthcare leaders collaborate on optimizing clinical quality and enhancing the patient experience by adopting OnBase and Epic technologies.

The eighth annual OnBase + Epic User Forum will convene July 21-23 at the Global Center for Health Innovation in Downtown Cleveland. Cleveland Clinic CIO, Dr. C. Martin Harris, will start the event as keynote speaker sharing his global perspective of healthcare trends impacting today’s technology leaders. Cleveland Clinic implemented Epic electronic medical record (EMR) and OnBase enterprise content management (ECM) technologies for its electronic health record strategy, improving patient care and streamlining processes to lower costs across the healthcare enterprise.

Tim Steffl, chief operating and development officer, American Hospital Association (AHA), will moderate a panel in which Chief Information Officers will share their experiences formalizing an enterprise vision for Epic and OnBase in meeting their strategic initiatives such as mobile access, application consolidation and optimization.

Health Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Executive Vice President John Hoyt will share how healthcare organizations around the world are achieving HIMSS Stage 7. The integrated Epic and OnBase solutions have helped many organizations achieve Stage 7 as well as begin their journey in achieving the newly released HIMSS Continuity of Care Maturity model.

Pairing structured programming with informal networking opportunities, the OnBase + Epic User Forum is specifically designed for the over 140 healthcare systems who have invested in OnBase and Epic technologies. By providing an outlet for dynamic collaboration, healthcare providers will address evolving organizational challenges while learning about industry trends, product road map strategies and best practices impacting the end user and patient experience.
