Kaiser Permanente Chooses Extension Engage as Clinical Communication Solution

Extension Healthcare announced today that after an extensive RFP process, Kaiser Permanente, one of the nation’s largest not-for-profit health plans, serving more than 10.6 million members, with headquarters in Oakland, California, has chosen Extension Engage™ as the standard alarm management and care team communication platform for all thirty-eight of its hospitals.

The Extension Engage™ platform is the most comprehensive and scalable clinical communication and collaboration solution in healthcare as is evidenced by its ability to support the entire Kaiser network comprised of 38 hospitals, 18,652 physicians, and 51,010 nurses. Once an enterprise consumer of first-generation healthcare middleware, Kaiser is now transitioning to Engage, a next-generation solution that has been adopted by more than 230 other hospitals nationwide.
