aXtraHand LLC

aXtraHand LLC has designed a Clamping System(CH-1003) that can be attached permanently to your existing wheelchairs, stretchers, beds/gurneys, and any other type of patient handling equipment from which your existing IV Poles can be secured and released easily and quickly. These Clamps allow the transport personnel to safely move a patient and their IV pole while keeping both hands on the transporting equipment. This minimizes injuries to patients and transporters as well as increases productivity and timeliness in patient care. The IV Pole stays with the patient at all times; no more transferring of bags and pumps. All of our products are designed and manufactured in Michigan. If you have any special equipment needs, contact us – we are here to help.

The Universal Clamp to IV Pole (CH-6000) is a removable multi-use Safe Patient Handling Clamp that connects patient transfer equipment to an IV Pole. Most stretchers, beds, wheelchairs with wrap around handlebars, patient transfer mobile lifts and many other types of specialty equipment have round or square bars that the CH-6000 can be easily attached to and removed.
