To be taken seriously as a business you need a Website. Facebook pages, and other social media accounts are important, but a well-designed website conveys a level of professionalism that gives your customers confidence that you are legitimate.

Having been a start-up multiple times, and having worked with hundreds of start-ups I have seen many mistakes start-ups make and can help you avoid them. One of the biggest mistakes I see is that start-ups over-invest upfront and spend more than they should on a website.

Results are everything when you are starting out, so lead generation and affordability should be your primary drivers. I get the biggest kick out of seeing start-ups succeed and hope to be a part of your success.

If you had your website designed prior to 2015, with the way things have been changing in the digital space, then it is highly likely your website needs a redesign to continue to give you the best results.

I love doing redesigns the most because of the reactions I get afterwards when people are getting all these additional leads and enquiries. – When someone has had a dud site, they appreciate one that converts well.

Often a key component of redesigns is making sure that it is responsive and looks good, functions well and generates leads on both mobile devices and desktops. Many companies claim to make “mobile responsive websites” and they just make sure it displays on all devices. But there is so much more involved to actually create a site on a mobile that is optimised for conversions.

The upside to redesigns is that often we’ve got a baseline, existing traffic and a bunch of content already that can be re-written. It’s usually much quicker than a brand new site and the results are more prominent.
