Our Vision

The Bayonne Community Mental Health Center will be recognized by individuals in need of service and organizations in the market as the premiere provider of behavioral health services in Northern New Jersey.

Both consumers and referring providers will acknowledge the Bayonne Community Mental Health Center as the provider of excellent, effective behavioral health services delivered by exceptional staff, working together in a spirit of cooperation with respect and compassion for the clients they serve.

Innovative treatment and a full range of services will place the Bayonne Community Mental Health Center at the forefront of Behavioral Health Care.

Acquisition by Trinitas Regional Medical Center

In 2017, the Board of Trustees of Bayonne Community Mental Health Center (CMHC) elected to have Trinitas Regional Medical Center assume ownership of the CMHC.

“We are pleased to have found a partner whose mission so closely aligns with ours,” explained Joseph M. Kadian, Psy.D., President and CEO of CMHC. “With their demonstrated history of providing accessible mental health and addictions services for close to 75 years, our Board is confident that our association with Trinitas will allow the Bayonne CMHC to continue to respond to the needs of our community, ensure our commitment to our clients, and enable the Center to continue the mission that it started 46 years ago without interruption.”

“This transition to ownership by Trinitas promises has been seamless. There are no plans for any interruption or major changes in the name, services, personnel, hours, location or anything else that would impact the clientele or the community,” Dr. Kadian explained. Additionally, Bayonne CMHC will continue to serve all clients regardless of their ability to pay for services.

According to Gary S. Horan, FACHE, President & CEO of Trinitas, “In line with Trinitas’ historically strong leadership role in mental health and substance abuse treatment, the Bayonne community can expect to receive the highest level of care it has come to know and rely on during the span of the Center’s 46 years of service. In the spirit of continued and future success, Trinitas plans to invest significant funding with the intention of upgrading important elements of administration, including electronic medical records, computerized registration and billing software, and high-speed telecommunications equipment.”
