Astragalus root is also called Huang Qi. It comes from legumes or beans. Although there are different types of Astragalus, most Astragalus supplements contain Astragalus membranaceus. It is said that it has many health benefits for many diseases, including cardiovascular diseases.

It is said that astragalus stimulates the immune system. It has an antioxidant effect that suppresses the formation of free radicals. In the body, free radicals damage cells and are associated with many health problems associated with aging. However, the method of complete retention of free radicals is unknown.

Astragalus is a natural food additive used to treat various diseases. For example, it is used to treat colds, upper respiratory infections, fibromyalgia and diabetes. Some supporters of Astragalus use it for potential benefit to the heart. It is said that it can protect against heart disease. It also helps to eliminate general weakness.

Supporters also claim that astragalus stimulates the spleen, liver, lungs, circulation and urinary tract. It is also used to treat osteoarthritis, asthma and nervous disorders, as well as to reduce blood sugar and blood pressure. However, there is not much evidence of its effectiveness.
