Carbon Monroe Pike Mental

Carbon, Monroe, and Pike counties operate a mental health and developmental services program with offices in each county. If you have a need for such services, or know someone who does, you may contact us by email, telephone, or by visiting one of our offices.

Carbon-Monroe-Pike Mental Health and Developmental Services promotes an environment where all community members receive the supports that they need to be self-sufficient and to maintain a high quality of life in a community that fosters resiliency and embraces recovery.

The Carbon-Monroe-Pike Mental Health and Developmental Services’ mission is to partner with consumers, family members, service providers, and community members to assist individuals with emotional, behavioral, or developmental issues, and their families, in becoming self-sufficient and obtaining an improved quality of life. This will be accomplished by creating and maintaining an environment that promotes and supports recovery and resiliency and by linking individuals and families to necessary and desired supports.

Case Manager – We’re looking for energetic individuals with a positive, strengths based perspective to help adults and children with mental illness and/or developmental disabilities accomplish their goals. Case manager responsibilities include all aspects of case management such as; referral and placement of consumers, file maintenance, participant contacts and case notes, data entry and reporting requirements, development and maintenance of service plans and the provision of supportive services. Strong organizational, creative and interpersonal skills required. Must be flexible and solutions oriented. Ability to motivate and advocate for participants is essential. Bachelor’s degree in a social services or related field is required. Must have clean driving record, PA Child Abuse History, Criminal History Record & FBI Fingerprint clearances. Positions may be available in Carbon, Monroe or Pike counties. County cars are available during working hours. Competitive salary and benefits offered. MH Program Specialist 1 – We’re looking for energetic individuals with a  positive strengths based perspective to help adults and children with mental illness and/or developmental disabilities accomplish their goals. The Forensic Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, development, implementation, vision and focus of our forensic efforts. The Forensic Coordinator is directly responsible for the scope of work encompassed by the position and is not directly responsible for the supervision of staff members, however this coordinator will need to effectively pass on information and directives to other staff, provider agencies, and other community entities. There shall be contact with consumers, family members, the public, officials of other social services agencies, and state officials. This coordinator reports to the Director of Consumer Supports. All resumes will be kept on file for six months from the date of submission.

Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Policy CMP is committed to maintaining the integrity of the application process and ensuring the equal treatment and consideration of all applicants, e.g. individuals who have applied for a job but were not selected. Therefore, an applicant for a position in the Mental Health/Developmental Disabilities Department who is subject to non-selection which they believe to be unreasonably arbitrary or discriminatory may avail themselves of the ADR procedure. Notice of an applicant’s intent to pursue the ADR procedure must be provided, in writing and utilizing the attached form, to the Human Resources Department within fifteen (15) business days of the time the applicant knows, or should have known, of an action or issue that can be raised through the ADR procedure.

Unless otherwise specified, applicant grievances will begin at the third step as defined in Section III-D.
