Community Provider-Enrichment
In the three decades since our founding, Community Provider of Enrichment Services (CPES) has become well-known as one of Arizona’s leading providers of quality coordinated service for individuals with developmental disabilities. Our expertise in creating systems of care tailored to the individual needs of this vulnerable and complex population gives CPES’ clients a decided advantage as the field places new emphasis on integrated models of care community provider enrichment
Building upon our success in Arizona, CPES recently expanded into California with the acquisition of Novelles Developmental Services and incorporation of CPES California, working to create residential options for consumers beyond the system of institutional care.
At CPES/Novelles, it is our vision to aspire to “excellence in services that empower every person to achieve their highest quality of life”. CPES/Novelles is the nation’s largest employee owned company (ESOP), offering a full range of community-based behavioral health services, substance abuse treatment, foster care, and intellectual and developmental disability supports with locations throughout Arizona and California.
For nearly 40 years, CPES has responded to the needs of individuals and families, regardless of age or the severity of challenges. Our broad range of professional services are designed to ensure that comprehensive, personalized, culturally competent, and trauma informed care are available to those seeking help and supports.
As a leader in community behavioral health CPES/Novelles was selected to participate in the Trauma-Informed Learning Community provided by the National Council for Behavioral Health.
CPES/Novelles are currently engaged with Michael Smull and the Learning Community of Person Centered Practices in a transformational journey that envisions a time where all people have positive control over the lives they have chosen for themselves. Our strength is in our people. CPES/Novelles has a combined workforce of approximately 1500 employees whose dedicated efforts are the foundation of our success. A commitment to becoming a learning organization has led to the development of a leadership academy “Right Track” and an evidenced-based supervisory workshop in partnership with Skill Path. We are taking steps to ensure that the efficacy of our services is maintained and enhanced under systems of coordinated and integrated care.
