Dreamweavers Unlimited

There are days in your life you will never forget. For me, the day was July 23, 1997. That was the day I was told my 1-year-old son, Mitch, was “definitely delayed, possibly mentally retarded, and probably autistic Dreamweavers Unlimited

My world was shattered until I realized my little boy hadn’t changed at all. I loved him just  as much after the diagnosis of autism as I did before. Someday I believe Mitch will share  his dreams with me. There are days in your life you will never forget. For me, the day was July 23, 1997. That was the day  I was told my 1-year-old son, Mitch, was “definitely delayed, possibly mentally retarded, and probably autistic.”

My world was shattered until I realized my little boy hadn’t changed at all. I loved him just  as much after the diagnosis of autism as I did before. Someday I believe Mitch will share  his dreams with me. In the words of Robert Browning, “A man’s reach should exceed his grasp, or what’s a heaven for.” We intend to keep reaching for the stars! Join us!”

We believe that all children have potential!  We understand that it can seem impossible to find the right fit for your child in a typical preschool setting.  Your child is the reason we started our program!  We can help, and we will make sure that each child “fits” with us!

Our staff, collectively, have over 40 years of experience working with children with delays in speech and language, social/emotional deficits, low fine/gross motor skills, and difficulties with sensory integration. Additionally, each lead teacher is bi-lingual, English and Spanish. We’re excited to work with you and your family!  We believe that all dreams are important…even the lil’ ones. Using an augmentative communication device (AAC) gives children with speech & language disorders a voice!  Our speech therapists teach children to use their AAC devices to communicate just like someone else would with their own voice.  For many children, the use of an AAC device enhances their spoken language.
