DSA

DSA, INC. was formed in 2002 by a group of professionals who have worked in the developmental disabilities service system in central Indiana for nearly 20 years. The group homes DSA, INC. were purchased from a multi-state organization. All 16 group homes had at one time been operated by Indiana companies and one goal of DSA, INC. was to assure local ownership. DSA, INC. was started with 120 experienced direct care and professional employees. Most of whom worked for the predecessor agency. DSA, INC. professional staff have educational and experiential backgrounds in nursing, education, social work and business.

  • o assist our consumers to be actively involved in meaningful life experiences by offering quality care and training, and by prudently exposing them to a spectrum of choices.  
  • To inspire the confidence of the families of our consumers that they chose wisely in entrusting DSA to care for their loved ones by meeting our responsibilities and maintaining a professional image.  
  • To provide growth opportunities and economic stability for all DSA staff through judicious stewardship and by offering a variety of employee programs including mentoring, career enhancement planning, and employee assistance.
  • To serve our community by visibly acting as a resource for information and services, and by participating in the development of state and national policies affecting disabled citizens.
