Families United Inc

Families United, Inc. is a private, for-profit corporation founded in April of 1986 by Kathi J. Lange, ACSW, LCSW, LMFT of Attica, Indiana. The Agency started as an entrepreneurial effort through a collaborative pilot project with the Warren County Division of Family and Children.

Mrs. Lange started the Agency by providing home-based services to three families in their own homes with the goal of preventing the children from being removed and placed in out-of-home care. The success of this project led to the subsequent expansion and development of the company which now provides services to Fountain, Warren, Benton, Tippecanoe, Montgomery, Putnam, Boone and White Counties. A multitude of services have been developed which include: Family Preservation Case Management, Home-Based Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Sexual Abuse Treatment Programs for victims and offenders, the Healthy Families Indiana Program, and Anger Management classes.
