Our Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital, located in New Iberia, Louisiana offers a premier level of rehabilitation care under the direction and leadership of physicians who specialize in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Acadiana Rehabilitation, a Division of Iberia Rehabilitation Hospital is a state of the art, in-patient rehabilitation facility. Acadiana Rehabilitation is newly remodeled and offers 16 private specialty rooms in the heart of Lafayette, Louisiana.
Acadiana Rehabilitation houses a staff of dedicated rehabilitation professionals that provide a multi-disciplined approach that includes clinical, therapeutic rehabilitative interventions, and family involvement. Our goal at Acadiana Rehabilitation is to improve the quality of each patient’s life by focusing on individual needs and returning the patient home as independent as possible.
Each patient admitted to Acadiana Rehabilitation has a strategically planned comprehensive rehabilitation program that is driven by a PM&R Physician along with our interdisciplinary team. A physiatrist is a Physician that has received specialised training in rehabilitative medicine. Each patient will be closely monitored by Physicians, Nurses, Therapists, Dietitians and Auxiliary staff and undergo weekly team conferences
