Lakeside Behavorial Health Since 1967, Lakeside Behavioral Health System has been the premier provider of specialized behavioral health and addictive disease services in the Memphis and Mid-South region. The 305-bed facility, located on a serene 37-acre campus in northeast Shelby County, serves as the setting for the treatment for children, adolescents, young adults, adults and seniors. In 1969, Lakeside Behavioral Health System opened its doors with one mission in mind: to provide specialized behavioral health care and addiction treatment in a welcoming environment for people in search of healing. Our 37-acre campus, located on the outskirts of Memphis, Tennessee, features a state-of-the-science, 345-bed facility designed to make recovery an accessible, effective reality in the lives of our patients.
At Lakeside, we believe in offering a variety of options to our patients, making our programs more accessible and our treatment more effective, while maintaining high levels of quality care. Lakeside Behavioral Health System is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, certified by Medicare, and licensed by the State of Tennessee.
In addition to providing targeted treatment for our patients, Lakeside is committed to helping our community understand and recognize the complexities associated with behavioral health issues or addictive diseases. We offer a range of weekly on-site support groups from Aftercare and depression or bipolar support to AA and NA. As a clinical affiliate with the National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention, we also offer a variety of training classes and suicide prevention workshops to empower our community to fight this silent epidemic.
