Linde RSS

The principals of RSS are Gene Gantt, Scott Gantt and Jamie Garrett. Gene and Scott are Respiratory Therapists with extensive experience in all levels of health care managment. In 1985 they founded Eagle Medical Equipment, a durable medical equipment company. By 1998, Eagle Medical operated in 4 southern states.

In 1994, they founded Respiratory Support Systems. This company provided RT personnel, equipment, and supplies to subacute facilities in 5 southern states. The company also provided management services under contract to many prestigious hospital systems including St Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN; Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN; Athens Hospital in Athens, AL; Carraway Medical Center in Birmingham, AL; Memorial Hospital in Ocala, FL; and Nature Coast Hospital in Crystal River, FL. These companies were sold to United Medical in 1998, which was acquired by  Lincare in 2000.

Respiratory Support Services was founded in 2000. The new company reengineered the methods of post acute patient care under the prospective payment system. The staff of RSS includes approximatly 40 Respiratory Therapists, all of which have an extensive background in all delivery sites of Respiratory Care Services. Additionally the company has a very strong management staff with years of experience in the post acute field. Garrett founded G3 Home Medical in 2000. RSS and G3 merged in 2004 creating a full service Post Acute network unmatched in the industry.

Over the years we have worked not only with the changes in technology, but also with the changes in reimbursement methods affecting the delivery of health care. As a result of this experience, we are able to creatively design programs and patient care models that are timely and consistently state of the art.

Our therapists treat each patient individually. We possess the clinical skills and the motivation to help our patients meet their goals, no matter what they are, even if they seem to be unrealistic at first glance. Our staff takes pride in the success of our work and thrives on the positive outcomes they make possible. We not only work one on one with individual patients, but provide help to those in need across the world thru our website www.ventweaning.com.
