The goal of the University of Maryland Memorial Hospital Foundation (UM Memorial Hospital Foundation) is to ensure and preserve the future of healthcare excellence and medical progress. Financial integrity and local support are essential to provide quality health care services that are comprehensive, accessible, and that address the needs of our community for years to come.
As a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, the UM Memorial Hospital Foundation is the fundraising arm of the UM Shore Medical Center at Easton (previously Memorial Hospital at Easton) and all of its ancillary healthcare programs and services. Many of the facilities, programs, services, and technologies offered today would not be possible without the additional financial resources and support given to the Foundation by our family members, friends, neighbors, and volunteers.
The UM Memorial Hospital Foundation has evolved into a strong organization with sophisticated philanthropic programs. Gifts made to the Foundation provide the funds to enable continuous expansion and enhancement of patient care in the face of a costly and changing healthcare environment.
