MHM Services, Inc. (MHM) is headquartered in Vienna, Virginia and employs over 2,000 clinical, management, and support staff nationwide. MHM was founded in 1981 to provide management of inpatient psychiatric units for medical-surgical hospitals. By the mid-1990s we had over 50 management contracts and operated six freestanding facilities of our own.
Today, we contract with government agencies in 12 states to provide a wide array of behavioral health and medical services in correctional facilities, state psychiatric hospitals, and other community settings.
Our contracts are managed through a network of state and regional offices located throughout the United States. Each MHM contract is overseen by a team of program managers and clinical directors dedicated to meeting the unique challenges of the client agencies they serve. The long-standing relationships MHM has with its clients – many over ten years – is a testament to our high level of customer satisfaction.
