New Way Out Corporation

The success of our program has been providing stability for the children in our care. Only in rare situations have we discharged a child from our program prior to the Individualized Service Plan target date. In those few cases, it was determined that the child’s needs far exceeded the services that we could provide. New Way Out Corporation believes that each individual should be able to live in an environment that is safe, clean, comfortable, and free from exploitation. Our philosophy is to “meet each person where they are” and assist them in accomplishing their goals and aspirations.

In keeping with the tradition establish by our mentor, founder, father and grandfather Reverend Ananias Petway, lovingly called “Daydee”- New Way Out Corporation has provided hands-on services and personalized care to Mobile residents with special needs since 1997. New Way Out Corporation was incorporated in the State of Alabama in 1999. We specialize in developing community based residential programs serving children and adults with a variety of disabilities and conditions. New Way Out works cooperatively with multiple state and federal agencies (including the Department of Youth Services, The Department of Human Resources, The Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation, The Department of Education, and Medicaid) to achieve our objectives while providing a wide range of specialized services to the children and adults that we serve. Emphasis is placed on providing quality residential support programs to persons of all ages with developmental/ intellectual disabilities, mental illness, and residential training programs for difficult to place children with severe behavior, psychological and emotional problems.
