North Charles provides services to people at a point in their lives when they need it most, and empowers those same people to regain control over their own lives and reenter the community as productive and fully realized citizens. Since 1971, when North Charles was founded as an independent non-profit partner of the Department of Psychiatry at the Cambridge City Hospital we have pursued this mission in a number of unique and innovative ways.
