Outpatient treatment programs provide individual, group and family counseling. They offer comprehensive, coordinated, and defined services that vary in level of intensity. Pine Belt’s Outpatient Programs serve individuals with mental health, substance abuse, and co-occurring mental and substance abuse disorders.

Treatment is provided in the community as well as at Pine Belt locations. The goal of the outpatient programs is to provide accessible, comprehensive services responsive to each individual client and for each to obtain their optimal level of functioning in the home and community.

On your first visit, you will fill out paperwork and then meet with a clinician to discuss your reason for seeking services. Your clinician will explain our services and what is available to you (i.e., individual therapy, case management, med clinic services, etc). They will ask questions about your current life stressors and your history. It is very important to bring the following documents with you to decrease wait time.

  • Insurance card and information of person insured
  • Social security card or Birth certificate (if client is a minor)
  • Legal guardianship papers if applicable (if client is a minor)
  • Proof of household income: pay stub, bank statement showing income, or tax return, etc. If none of the above proof is available, you must have an affidavit showing proof and source of assets. (proof of household income is only needed if you have no insurance, have private insurance, or medicare.)
  • List of all medications or pharmacy printout
