This modernized department is comprised of Physical and Occupational Therapies. Patients referred here also have access to vocational rehabilitation. Licensed by the State of Pennsylvania, the healthcare professionals in this department are proficient in treating movement dysfunctions associated with neurological, orthopedic, geriatric and sports related injuries or dysfunctions. This department is well integrated, utilizing a team approach. The organization has undertaken a community health needs assessment as required by the recent passage of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act which requires tax exempt hospitals to conduct needs assessments and development community benefit plans every three years.
