RHA Health Services

RHA Health Services, Inc. is a leading non-profit provider of services and supports for people with developmental and intellectual disabilities.  Across North Carolina and in parts of Tennessee and Georgia, we offer a wide range of effective, high-quality services.  Everywhere RHA has a presence, we provide a comprehensive support network for the people we serve that is both flexible and dependable.  RHA programs are licensed by the North Carolina Department of Facility Services and endorsed by Local Management Entities/Managed Care Organizations (LME/MCOs).

Founded in 1991, RHA began as a small cluster of ICF/MR group homes in North Carolina developed to offer support to people with disabilities.  Over the years, RHA Health Services has expanded to include supported living, vocational and day programs, periodic respite, personal care services, targeted case management, and much more.  In everything, we seek to demonstrate an organizational commitment to the dignity, independence, and equitable treatment of people, as well as their full inclusion into the communities around them.  Our core focus is the well-being of the people we support, our employees, and the communities in which they live. Enhancing the health, safety, and personal goals of each person we support is always our first priority. At RHA, we provide a holistic, person-centered approach to care guided by a system of values that puts the needs of the people we support at the center of every decision.

RHA Health Services recognizes resources that enhance the quality of life can have a dramatic effect on a person’s health. Our Community Specialty Programs aim to address “whole person” care needs, which in addition to monitoring health, may include help with employment, education, cultural needs, safe housing, and other social and economic factors that impact a person’s health.
